Served as a dedicated City Commissioner prior to her mayoral tenure, bringing decades of experience and a deep understanding of community needs to local governance.
Community Advocacy & Non-Profit Impact
Church & Community Assistance Program, Inc.
Founder of the Church & Community Assistance Program, Inc., a vital nonprofit that provided direct aid to hundreds of Osceola families annually with essential services like food stamps, Medicaid applications, housing assistance, and job placement.

Osceola County Council on Aging
As a board member on the Osceola County Council on Aging, Olga contributed to initiatives that delivered widespread support across the county, including:
meals delivered to 2,245 clients in 2020 alone
pounds of food distributed annually to the elderly, disadvantaged, and disabled
families and 1,608 uninsured individuals provided medical care
in emergency assistance secured for 1,751 low-income households
senior and veteran households received home repairs, benefiting 455 family members
low-income seniors and disabled citizens housed in safe, affordable apartment complexes

Meet Olga
Olga Gonzalez made history as the first Latina Mayor of Kissimmee. Born in Harlem to Puerto Rican parents, she is a mother of four, a proud grandmother of 15, and a great‑grandmother of three.
After a successful career at General Motors, Olga moved to Osceola County and founded the Church and Community Assistance Program, Inc., helping families access food, housing, Medicaid, and jobs.
Her lifelong record: serving with faith, integrity, and compassion.
